Foxy Lady a Canadian English movie...Balak Palak an Indian Marathi movie...both attempt to educate you on sex ...while the former is practicals; the latter is truely very practical; in the sense while one answers all your unanswered questions (so called hawas!!)....the other questions you on a very important and sensitive aspect.
Balak Palak - 4 adolescent school children Dolly, Chiu, Aavya and Bhagya with full innocence have given a beyond excellence performance through an incident which happens in their chawl...and they get desperate and inquisitive about "Shain Khane !!" ...very close to our real adolescent lives (age 17 to 21yrs!!) the way we all got inquisitive to know the so called untold secrets!! While Foxy lady was our answer to all unanswered questions. In BP the answer is Vishnu a local tapori who erroneously writes "Sanpada" instead of "Sampada" on his forehand :-)) He is the hero of BP who starts giving them free classes on "dichak dichak" ;-)) As he rightly says shikayla there is no class or tuiton with an ad -- "Dichak Dichak shikaycha aahe please enroll" :-)) rest watch it to enjoy...
Director has also done a marvelous job and ensured that he has kept it as clean as possible...A must watch for all parents infact every Indian must watch but yes Strictly for Adults only....Oops!! Not sure if this attitude towards such a topic would ever change call it culture or blame it on something else..
BP questions us on a very sensitive aspect....but we are definitely happy the way we are...dichak dichak ;-))
Our children don’t need parents to say what is wrong but they need friends in those parents to say what is right...Strongly recommend and pray for an OSCAR.
